			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well the results are in &#8211; Massachusetts has elected a Republican as their next U.S. Senator &#8211; replacing the Kennedy dynasty and the democratic lock on the Senate.  Scott Brown is the 41st vote in the Senate, providing some hope that the Health Care &#8216;deal&#8217; can be derailed and return some recognition within the Senate that &#8220;The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, <strong>or to the people.&#8221;</strong></p>
<p>Can you hear us now Nancy?  How about you Barry?  Good luck in November and in 2012.  We&#8217;re watching <strong>and taking notes.  Good luck in your new jobs.</strong></p>

<p>In a word &#8211; this is STUPID.</p>
<p>If the fans are upset, let them vote with their dollars &#8211; boycott the advertisers of the bowl games, don&#8217;t attend the games&#8230; etc. The &#8217;system&#8217; would listen &#8211; if anyone really cared. If the fans don&#8217;t care enough to vote with their dollars, then they deserve the system they pay for.</p>
<p>This is a money grab for Texas colleges, and it is none of the business of our 111th Congress of the United States of America.</p>
<p>Please find a competent replacement for this man in the REPUBLICAN PRIMARY, rather that replacing him with another rabid &#8220;lets fundamentally change America&#8221; liberal, but either way he&#8217;s got to GO!</p>

<td colspan="4">On November 21, 2009 at 07:55 PM, the Senate voted on the Cloture Motion (Motion to Invoke Cloture on the Motion to Proceed to H.R. 3590, the vehicle for the version of health care reform that will be debated in the Senate)  The vote was close with at least two Senators waiting until the very last before betraying the Constitution and their constituents in voting YEA to move the bill forward for debate by the Senate.This list below outlines thoses Senators (in <strong>BOLD</strong>) that need to be opposed and vigorously campaigned AGAINST when they come up for re-election.  Only one-third of the Senate is up for re-election in 2010, but we will keep them visible in 2021 and 2014 until we have a change to repay them for their reckless generosity with in squandering our hard earned money. </td>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: left; page-break-before: always; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="font-size: medium;">After listening to all the drivel about the 2000+ pages of health care reform and the relative simplicity of a document like our Constitution, I decided to take a shot at a simple, but effective reform proposal of my own.  Let me know what you think!</span></p>
<p style="PAGE-BREAK-BEFORE: always; MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in" align="center"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>Health Care Reform – a common sense proposal</strong></span></p>
<ol>

<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">First, assure that all Americans can afford an individual catastrophic health care plan, typically an HSA type plan to prevent families from being wiped out by truly catastrophic health issues. Make all premiums tax deductible. Provide tax credits to offset premiums paid that exceed 5% of their gross annual income.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Second allow all Americans the liberty to choose to obtain or reject acquiring health care. This who reject health care should be prepared to live AND DIE with the health and financial consequences of their decisions.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><span style="BACKGROUND: #ffff00">TAX all those who choose to reject health care at 5% of their gross income to provide funds to reimburse hospitals for the costs of treating the indigent and the uninsured.</span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Require doctors to publish fees for all services and to disclose these fees to patients at or before time of service.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Doctors should present alternate care options that are more economical in addition to the most advanced and recent treatments.</p>

<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Require doctors to provide care to the UNINSURED at <span style="FONT-STYLE: normal"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">t</span></span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">he lowest</span> of all the published usual and customary fee schedules from the insurance plans they accept. Require insurers to pay doctors based on the procedure, directly from their companies published fee schedules WITHOUT forcing doctors to price and file each service ABOVE all of the insurers maximum plan reimbursements in order to seek the maximum reimbursement from each procedure filed.</p>

<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Require insurers to accept all applicants who have been fully covered by an existing insurance plan for at least 1 year prior without regard for pre-existing conditions. Require acceptance of all uninsured individuals with a 100% exclusion on treatments for the pre-existing conditions for the first year, and a 50% EXCLUSION FOR the second year. In the third year, the individual would be fully covered.</p>

<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Insurers should offer discounts for multi-year plans of 3, 5, 10 and 20 years, similar to the way term life insurance is sold today.</p>
</li>

<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Allow for inter-state insurance shopping, allowing individuals to seek plans and coverage from ANY insurance company in the United States without regard for state of residence.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Tort reform to limit monetary damages and require two practicing doctors to publicly review and endorse any suit claiming harm to a patient. Consequences of the defendant losing the suit will include penalties up to losing their license to practice medicine in the United States.</p>

<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Allow those currently outside the system to begin to contribute to and benefit from health insurance.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Provide incentives for people to stay with an insurer and limit an insurers ability to systematically raise rates year over year.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Release market forces among insurance companies, eliminating protectionist laws in some states which keep prices high and limiting access to heath care. This facilitates comparison shopping for coverage.</p>
</li>

<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Stop forcing doctors to practice defensive medicine and provide doctors with the protection of peer review, while stiffening the consequences of significant mistakes.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This week marks the first anniversary of the election of President Barack Hussein Obama.  I&#8217;m thrilled that we are progressing as a nation toward a world that values men and women of all colors and ethnicities.  I&#8217;m appalled however by the rapid changes I see in America -  our shining city on the hill.  These changes challenge the fundamental essence of the United States of America.</p>
<p>To be fair, these changes are not all President Obama&#8217;s fault &#8211; in fact, the origins of these issues trace all the way back to President Carter, president Clinton, and President Bush 43 to name a few.    Now I can clearly see what I&#8217;d been blind to for so many years.   A systematic dumbing down of the American electorate, through Politically Correct and historically vacuous public education, and a slow but gradual tipping of the federal tax system toward a &#8216;critical mass&#8217; where those with entitlements (paying precious little or no income taxes) out number and out-vote those who are paying virtually all the taxes.  Once we reached the point where those who &#8216;want&#8217; can vote to take money and property and from those who &#8216;earn&#8217;, we have ceased to be the land envisioned and secured for us by the founders in the Constitution of the United States.</p>
<p><strong>This blog is dedicated to the support those candidates and those few office-holders that support the freedoms and liberties guaranteed to us in The Constitution of the United States of America and to work tirelessly to seek the replacement of thoseoffice-holders that adhere to the values, moral standing and principles of those 56 men who risked their lives and their honor to take a stand against the tyranny of the Crown to create this great Nation.</strong></p>
<p>Our forefathers said it best in the Declaration of Independence &#8211; words that are as relevant today as 233 years 4 months and 2 days later&#8230;</p>
